Thanks for voting!
They might express it differently, but they both care about the people around them… at least, the ones who haven’t done anything to hurt others.
I feel the same way when someone says I am definitely my mother’s child
The twins made a new friend, and Misha has a new talking/venting outlet.
Win – win.
Mum’s good at keeping mum
when it comes to her job, it seems.
And it goes the other way ‘round
or her guests would have Dragon dreams.
Misha has her concerns, of course,
when one can question trusted ethics.
Especially as she may have no choice
in the helpers someone else picks.
Kaya’s got smiles from the shy girl;
her friends roster just got higher.
She came here to study her maths
but, in people skills? She’s a multiplier.
I suspect she also wants
Kai to see
That wonderful, magical
Indoors tree!
But obviously,
For better or worst
New friend Mischa
Had to come first
NOW it’s time to
Get to work…
Unless they use friendship
As an excuse to shirk…
Kaya might try that, I agree…
But Kai? No way,
Not him, no siree!
No Misha! Dont let your guards down! She’ll attack with friendship!!
… resistance is futile.
One of us! One of… Wait, she hasn’t targeted me yet… One of them! One of them!
It was super effective.
Just hopefully she won’t suddenly discover she can as a dragon power produce Nanoha style befriending beams.
Looks like we learn more about the twins’ mother, even though she’s not here. Mrs. Blueford has a kind and helpful personality, I see where Kai and Kaya get it from. The twins are like human teddy bears, Misha, they’re meant for hugging and comforting. Just don’t stand in front of them when they sneeze. Apparently, mentioning Sabrina’s job is as taboo as mentioning Voldemort by name.
I’d say the odds are actually pretty high, Kai, for that is the power of the Theory of Narrative Causality.
Imma be a be pedantic and say that I wouldn’t say that about Sabrina’s job. Saying she’s a therapist is fine, but not who she’s helping or what she’s helping them with.
Mentioning her job is fine, but no details.
They wouldn’t have even known Misha was her patient, if Misha hadn’t mentioned it.
Their mom certainly wouldn’t have said anything.
Panel 6: Add commas to the first non-connected “that” and “daughter”.
No. Maybe optional on “daughter.”
Well that’s pretty standard for therapists to maintain confidentiality, otherwise it’s pretty hard to get people to open up about their problems.
Good on Kaya to offer to help Misha even if it’s just having someone to talk to. That can be a big help also for those struggling with mental and emotional problems.
We don’t talk about Bruno…
Or work…
But friendship is always on the table!
I’m not sure if patients knowing relatives of the therapist is considered potentially problematic. 🤔 I doubt it’d be in this comic, though.
It’s called HIPAA. It’s why Sabrina can’t talk to the kids about Mischa and “coward killing time.”
