Misha’s can be quite the chatterbox if she’s used to someone.

Straight away they deal with home,
setting Misha’s mind at rest;
making sure the dog doesn’t have a bone
and putting Doc to the test.
Family relations have no place in here
and do you trust them not to tell?
Breaking confidentiality’s always a fear
even after they ring that ‘bell’.
An update on the tests and results
is given for both our stars
as the latest of their friends consults
as Misha tells her memoirs.
Diolch.
Kaya shouldn’t lord her grade over her brother, he may end up out doing her next time. A dragon feud over this probably wouldn’t be a very bad one, though probably just as potentially destructive.
Don’t get a fat head Kaya, you wouldn’t have gotten a high grade if it wasn’t for Kai and Mandy. You owe how well you did to their help. As for Misha, I’m glad to hear that she did so well on her finals. Kaya was probably such a great help because she and Misha are on the same wavelength.
I’m not sure if discussing events from your personal life or about your family members is considered professional behavior for therapists, even if this was amusing.
What Sabrina is doing is totally OK. This kind of thing is more common than you’d think. Note that Sabrina separated the “catching up” and the “therapy” parts of the discussion.
That’s what she SAID … I still think first three panels would totally count as part of therapy. Of course, not the next two.
I completely forgot The Mother of Dragons is also the councilor for angry Russian pupper. I just remembered Misha being worried their mom would have talked about her at home.
It’s nice to see everything seems to have stabilized; for the time being
Kaya proving once again she’s smarter than she acts sometimes (sometimes heh). Glad that she was a big help to Misha and hope this means they will become good friends.
You can really see the similarities between Kaya and her mom. Sabrina’s eyes are STUNNING.
Panel 1: Sabrina’s word balloon should be pointing to her.
Panel 4: Add a comma to “funny”.
Since only Sabrina mentions Kai, this strip passes the Bechdel test.
1 – It isn’t obvious to you who is speaking?
2 – No.
3 – Which one?
You don’t know? The Bechdel test determines whether or not a piece of media has two named female characters who talk to each other about something besides males. Sabrina mentions Kai, but Misha doesn’t, so this strip passes.
Sabrina also talks about Misha’s exams, about Kaya, and about Kaya’s math exam. None of those topics is male. Or does a brief mention of a male person make it so that everything else the character says is somehow about that person?
I already looked it up; I meant that there is more than one version of the Bechdel test.
That I didn’t know.
I think it is a little rude to grammar police a web comic. just read and enjoy it.
For speech and quotes I agree. Text that doesn’t have a reason to not comply should follow normal rules I believe.
It is even more rude when just about everything jprime says is wrong.
Playing grammar police when not knowing basic grammar is just bad, and wrong, there should be a new stronger word, like wrongbad.. or badong.. yes, bad grammar policing is BADONG.
From this moment, I will stand for the opposite of bad grammar policing: gnodab.
I knew where that was going and I still read it all the way through and chuckled for it just because you’re RIGHT.
That’s some seriously unprofessional violation of privacy going on there.
I don’t think so. fter all, Sabrina isn’t discussing her patients with Misha, and she’s not discussing Misha’s sessions with Kai or Kaya.
As a Mom, she is discussing things that may be private (as in within her family) with a known friend of her children, but not privileged information, such as covered by doctor-patient privilege. This is fine. You can even see the privilege extending to the last panel.
Indeed, the conversation in the last panel is obviously subject to medical confidentiality.
A mother talking about her children is normal. They are not her patients. Since she’s their parent, to decide exactly how many informations about them to reveal to anyone is up to her.
Sabrina doesn’t do the opposite, and doesn’t reveal anything about her patients at home, as Kaya already explained.
Flashback!
I’m glad that Misha has a safe space to talk things out in a secure environment. I’ve been in her shoes. I also like the lead on this page, a bit of an icebreaker. It’s important to feel comfortable enough around someone to be able to open up about what’s bothering you
I thought that this would be how this went; after that abrupt cut, I figured that it would conclude as soon as the meeting began after a few pleasantries. Now I wonder what’s coming next. A delightful little chapter with a couple more characters…will the next one or the one after that involve Misha and Mandy meeting the others?
Either way, poor Kai. *Snickers.* But don’t envy having your brain wired differently from Kaya’s, young dragon~
…what was I thinking? Of course I know what’s happening next. If final exams have just finished, then there’s only one logical thing that comes afterward: SUMMER VACATION! Gotta wonder what that will bring…
Sabrina: “So, let’s talk about how you keep getting and spreading the ‘mute’ status affliction.”
