Not paying attention
leads to pain retention.
Benji’s off to a flyer,
causing disasters like Kaya.
Just taking to the hall
makes his sense go and stall
causes players to fall
and he doesn’t get the ball.
The tail is wagging
but he won’t bragging.
He’s in trouble, it seems,
before they pick the teams

If Benji got bullied, would you comfort him by pets?
In my HC he really enjoys having his ear scratches, but finds it embarrassing if done in public. He’s also mildly ashamed of admitting this as he feels it’s a bit demeaning.
Someone walked in on me as I posted this and asked what a “HC” is… So…
HC = Head Canon = Personal interpretation, not necessarily anywhere near what the author intends.

Pretty good HC. He does enjoy ear scratches, but he’s picky about who gets to scratch them. His dad’s are allowed to, and that’s about it for now :p

I would expect sportsmen to be better at ignoring distractions, and keeping an eye on their surroundings.
At least Kai has less to worry about when people crash into him, I expect his skin is quite tough.
Gotta take into account what age/grade these “sportsmen” are! 🙂
Even aspiring athletes should have more focus and awareness than that. Unless they are there for tryouts as well, in which case, I wish them the best of luck.

You have to wonder if, perhaps as revenge for one of these accidents, someone has given our favorite green nosed pup a copy of the Benji movie as a ‘gift’.
