Fluff-brained Kaya
Spies a special friend.
Hers to protect,
Encourage and defend.
She’ll not rope her
Away from any others;
Not like the three
Who act as sponging mothers.
The challenge comes
As they’re both now seen
And her former bullies
Try to steal back their queen…
While it DOES speak volumes, I’ve been coming across your poems for years! And the worrying bit is, I don’t think you’ve ever repeated a rhyming scheme.
Clearly, you have the gods on your side. I bow to you, O level 80 Bard!
The return of sleepy Kaya, who wakes up immediately as soon as something interesting happens.
Both twins seem very eager to make new friends rather than continue to hang with each other.
Now we just have to wait for the confrontation with Cleo’s old friends.
Kaya: “By the way, what happened to those other three girls you used to hang out with?”
Cleo: “Well, you know how snakes can unhinge their jaws to swallow their prey whole? Let’s just say that I won’t be needing lunch today…or tomorrow…or for the rest of the semester.”
Kaya: “You didn’t…wait, you couldn’t, wouldn’t you be all distended and stuff?”
Cleo: “Not all at once! How would I handle P.E.?”
Panels 3 & 6…
Three: Looks like Cleo is at least a little surprised to see Kaya’s interest survived overnight to that extent.
Six: I like Cleo’s awkward-but-pleased smile as she gets used to Kaya’s attention.
I just noticed the mouse or rat and red hair kid are also here. Guess more people followed Cleo than she thought. I wonder if they will accidentally catch up…That’s a nice thought.

how do you do this on every comic you read?
He’s pretty good, isn’t he ^^
Can’t think of a reason not to and it speaks of my appreciation for the creator and their creation.

Who knew a snake can smile
Kaya believed!

It’s all new and exciting for them, so they try to get friends as soon as possible ^^

There is a reason why Bestie means in german beast… (other pronouncation though)
Haha, well, I don’t think her jaws work that way xD
She can’t unhinge her jaws even to merely swallow a large burger? I’m so disappointed…

You draw nice hands, Robin! (panel 3)
Thanks, I put a lot of practice into hands 🙂
A smile it is, though still slightly guarded. After her experiences it will probably take some time before Cleo is able to drop her guard.
Leave it to Kaya to break through though :p
I really like this growing friendship.
