Dad’s up but down
and it’s the cash
that made the frown
for them to smash.
They need ideas
to get cash in.
They won’t let fears
begin to win.
It’ll need all
(or just Cleo)
to face the wall
as the hero.
They will unite
as this new fight
to save the ‘shop’
is on. Chop chop!
guess their finances are looking bad since the restaurant is in no shape to be opened and needs to be renovated first
Yay, we’re back at the restaurant! Hopefully all is well… or will be.
Gotta love the Hawaiian shirts.
Kaya, quick! Make a livestream!
Cleo eating one of his meals and posting a review potentialy could do a lot. For opening and potential fundraising to open could get a lot of attention. I doubt anyone would ask but she would likely volunteer. Or just ask to eat over then post later without giving them a heads up.
And the fact that Daddy is rich just might get some attention from people with influence. 🙂
Hmm… I’m not sure that sounded the way I meant it… 🙂
Perhaps: “Maybe people with influence will hear about it, recognize Cleo’s name, and decide to pay more attention!”
I can think of three possible situations, and Cleo solving all of them.
Financial troubles: anonymous donation from Cleo’s family.
Contractor troubles: Cleo hires the best contractors in America.
Aesthetic troubles: Cleo hires an interior designer from Spain.
Fourth option, and the one Kaya would be most likely to agree with: a loan with a very low interest rate. Of course, this depends on whether or not the problem can be fixed with an infusion of cash. It’s possible that influence might be needed instead. Advertisements, a word to the right potential customers, things like that. I’m also pretty sure Cleo could be the interior designer.
I hope that it would be turned into an educational opportunity for Cleo. Maybe have her dad make it a test, for her to figure out the loan and give him a convincing argument to her father. Maybe have the loan returns go through her and she would forward the appropriate amount back to her father. She would learn how money actually works rather than see it as a big stick to solve every problem with.
Fifth Option, assuming it is a cash flow issue.
Cloe asks her parents, if they know of any upcoming events that need catering services.
Allowing Marco to earn his way out of the problem.
That could be a good option, especially if it’s catering for an event a where there’s going to be lot’s of people. Would be a great way to get the Romero’s name out there.
Oh NO, how bad is it? D=
Friendly, attentive, AND honest, Good Parents indeed.
Yeah, as others have already pointed out it’s likely financial troubles. I guess getting the restaurant opened up is going to cost the Romero’s more than they initially planned. And yeah, it may very well be Cleo and her dad to the rescue but I hope if it is that it’s because Mr. Romero impresses them and convinces her dad that it’s worth helping out to save the restaurant.
Jesse’s Adventure: Why’s the image so big?
To make it easier for you to examine it? 😀
Didn’t work.
Then we need an even bigger one!
Awww , drat X_X
Seems that the repairing bill of the restaurant will be more expensive than planned . What about Kaya and Kai discovering a treasure during a “walk in the woods” scholar event ? (totally mad theory) ^_^”
Marco: “The restaurant’s being preemptively shut down.”
Kai: “Preemptively? You haven’t even opened up yet!”
Marco: “You know that girl your sister set on fire? Turns out her father is the local health inspector and has a bit of a vengeful streak.”
Alternatively:
Marco: “Well, you know how our last name is Romero? It seems that there was a mix-up in our script notes between our comic and another production where a producer has an identical surname. Long story short, the restaurant opening will be delayed because of an attack of zombies and demons.”
Kai: “Oh, Kaya and I have been training for this…”
First one: not an entirely unlikely scenario, petty bureaucrats abusing their authority. And Larissa’s entitled attitude had to come from somewhere!
Second one: Very inconvenient mix up!
Or perhaps there is interference from a “hostile takeover” by Cesar Romero!! (The Joker in the original “Batman” tv show from 1966-68!!)
Perhaps “millionaire philanthropist” Bruce Wayne would help out?
He was also A.J. Arno, the antagonist in a set of Disney movies starring a younger Kurt Russell: “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes,” “Now You See Him, Now You Don’t,” and “The Strongest Man in the World.”
Hopefully it’s not Covid.
Lots of interesting face mask designs for anthro characters anatomy.
Horse person in the background: “its not a feed bag!”
Benji: “its even made by a dog muzzle company, even has the brand tag. Can i wear something else?”
Oh, hopefully, everything will be fine about the invoices – I guess that those papers are bills. However, it would be cute seeing the twins and maybe their friends cooperate to get the money for the restaurant :3
Nope, they’re all blank. They’re bankrupted because of the high cost of printer ink.
White ink printer cartriges are expensive. He would be better printing in black.
Would grey ink be a reasonable compromise?
There should be a local branch of “50 Shades of Grey”. 😉
The restaurant…DUN DUN DUNNN…
Yeah, i was expecting another ending to that one ;-;
Yeah, me too. But its kinda suspenseful!
(What, robin hasn’t brought up the restaurant for a while, so i forgot about it and i literally have no idea whats wrong with the restaurant. :/)
“Dun dun dunnn”
That’s not–
Never mind.
