I couldn’t think of a rhyme for Office. So I decided to insult Dinah.
Kai should really know better
than to expect Kaya to dob herself in.
Just look at that innocent face
with that wonderful, who me, grin.
Does Rex know what Nate was about?
Does he know the score on redeemed?
Was setting Nate onto our Lizzie
a plan that Rex here really dreamed?
The Museum’s letting them go,
at least those not waiting in the office.
You know, the bully pair. Larissa
and, um… what’s her name? Doughface?
Sure, Dinah can be insulted :p
What Kaya has done , Kay ? Nothing bad ……….. Just missed to destroy a T-rex skeleton ^_^”
And yes , be sure about the ability of girls to avoid a question . First possibility : they doesn’t respond to it and that’s the good end (for you) ; second possibility : they returns the question to you and you finish to be the guilty to have asked it XD
Sounds like you have experience :p
I wonder if Rex had any idea what Nate was doing? But still 33.33333333333% success is better then 0%.
He might know what Nate was up to :p
Kaya uses deflection!
It’s super effective!
Kaya is trying to flee :p
Nate has filled Rex in
On his progress with the three
But Rex is confused
Bad, Kaya! Very bad!
Using Insane Troll Logic
To dodge a question!
What is the next arc?
Kai’s first b-ball game, perhaps?
Or maybe NateLiz?
but insane troll logic is best logic :p
Well Rex I imagine you’ll find out soon enough what 1/3 successful means! I doubt it’ll take the rumor mill long to spread the word about Larissa’s run in with security!
Kai: As for what Kaya did, how about we just say no harm no foul and move on!
But Kai wants to know xD
He’s playing the responsible brother, how can he be responsible if he’s being kept out of the loop :p
Have we used the expression “let sleeping dogs lie”? Because I think that would’ve worked better here. But Kaya is Kaya.
And you have to ask Kai? You should just KNOW what you twin is doing 😛
I have no idea what Nate’s long term plan is. Not sure that Rex does either. Nate works in mysterious ways.
The twin connection doesn’t work like television, though :p
That’s how quite a few sibling conversations go
Yeah, I can testify that :p
If you don’t mind me asking, how many siblings do you have? I have two siblings, both younger than me, but only by 2 or 3 years
Well, looks like things are starting to wrap up here at the museum. Kaya gets a new shirt & Kai’s left in the dark to her shenanigans. Nate saves Kaya from a concussion, while Liz receives a much needed reality check. I hope she feels better soon.
Yeah, it’s pretty much done. Next page will be the last for the chapter, followed by a couple Q&A strips with some regular questions that I want to answer, and to give me time to prepare the next chapter ^^
Speaking of future chapters, and I’m probably not the only one, but when will we see/meet their parents/again?
“Negotiations were 1/3 successful.” => Nate gets a piece of pie; you and Kai -don’t- !!! 🙂
(* Actually; I strongly suspect Nate’s cryptic quote is referring to successfully dealing with Lizzie, but that Larissa and Dinah are lost. But, I thought of the pie thing first, and it’s funnier. 🙂 🙂 🙂 )
Love the text in the last panel, and Kaya’s expression. 🙂 And I find it interesting that Kai is annoyed at Kaya’s misusing the old saying, but totally misses -what- she actually said about Rex! LOL
@ Iron Ed :
“”totally misses -what- she actually said about Rex! “”
That’s because you don’t know about “crying wolf” XD
Rex can take some ‘verbal abuse’, but that saying needs to be corrected :p
I’m sure Nate would score pie for everyone if he could xD
I have a feeling Kai is going to find out about Kaya’s little stunt regardless of wether she tells him personally or not. Might as well come clean Kaya. xD On the art side of things, love how this page is like a showcase of different expressions for the characters. All of them go through such a range of emotions in just this one comic strip. Even the smallest details can really help bring the story to life, and week after week this comic never disappoints. Keep it up Robin, stay awesome.
There were photos.
Thanks Alpha ^^
Kai might find out eventually. There are plenty of resources and witnesses to go to :p
Well… I don’t know the story of the crying wolf…
Coming from me, this is awkward… 🙁
“The Boy Who Cried ‘Wolf!'” is one of those old parables with a lesson. Very old times.
Little boy thinks he’s not getting enough attention so he starts yelling, “Wolf! Wolf!” He thinks it’s great fun when all the men drop what they’re doing and come running to save him (or the flock?) from The Big Bad Wolf and find out there is no wolf. He tries this trick several times, laughing every time. Finally the men just ignore his cries and stop coming. Then the wolf comes for real… 😉
…and Arya Stark shows no mercy.
And here it is in Deep Space 9 with the ever wonderful, funniest, deadliest, ‘good’ guy in Star Trek. Plain, simple, Garak.

Totally tired today and making dumb things …………… This full comment of me can be removed ? Thanks by advance
Title sounds like a Millennium book.
Meanwhile…
Rex: “Wait…why do I smell formaldehyde?”
Nate: “They said we were counting heads, so I raided the specimen lab!”
